Local permits
A county permit does not travel — this is the classic one-county-at-a-time state. Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and every other county each require their own permit and plan review, and operators commonly hold several at once.
Most counties require a commissary agreement — a permitted facility where the truck is serviced, cleaned, and stored.
We print only fees we have verified. This row's fee schedule has not cleared that bar yet, so we do not print a number — the issuing office publishes its schedule, and the Permit Path sheet for this state in the kit walks you to it. A confident number we cannot source is worse than an admitted gap.
Next steps: run your exact move in the free checker, then compare regimes in the full table.
