One truck. Fifty rulebooks.
Your truck is mobile. Your permits are not. Until this year almost every city wrote its own permit rulebook — then Texas, Colorado, Utah, and Oklahoma started tearing theirs up and replacing them, and plenty of official pages still teach the retired rules. This site tracks the new ones, state by state and city by city, with the date each rule was checked.
Free checker
Four answers and thirty seconds. The checker reads the same dataset as the 50-state table: the state-law layer for all 51 jurisdictions, plus a deep metro layer for the twelve cities we cover closely. Where a row is compiled rather than verified against the issuing agency, the answer says so, in the open — an honest flag beats a confident guess when the guess can get a truck shut down.
Free. No account. Nothing leaves this page. Tell it the permit you hold and where you want to sell. It answers from the state-law layer we track — with the date it was checked, and an honest flag wherever a row is still being double-checked.
One limit, stated plainly: we cover the listed metros deeply and the state-law layer everywhere. We do not pretend to track every small town's parking ordinances — nobody honestly can. The checker tells you which layer your answer stands on, and every answer carries its check date. Spotted a rule that changed? The correction log is public, and reports go to help@doogex.com.
